Rosemary continues to work at Chipotle on weekends and is busy taking college
courses at the Early College Alliance high school located within Eastern Michigan
University. She is also busy being head of the props section of several EMU Theater
Productions; she spent some time shadowing an anesthesiologist at the VA Hospital;
and she is the Dungeon Master in a D&D game with friends. She has adopted a
beautiful
rescue kitten (
Tabby, with a classic "M" on its forehead
), who has become
a
close friend of Onyx. It's been a very busy year since August 2022.
Lunch at Bigalora with the cousins and family.
Rosemary has stopped working at Krogers and worked for a while at
Busches,
a grocery store similar to Krogers. Then she quit that job to become
a
Counselor in Training (CIT) at the Buhr Park Summer Camp.
Unfortunately,
she developed Covid and so had to stop for a brief interval, then her
friend
Valentina came for a visit, so she stopped there, at least temporarily.
Rosemary has been working at Kroger's in order to acquire
a fancy gaming computer. She had to buy the components and
today she put everything together - it works!
Rosemary was supposed to start high school at Pioneer in September.
Because of the pandemic, her classes will be all virtual.

The first three pictures were taken on an excursion to Wudang Mountain.
The last picture is a screen shot taken during a Skype conversation with
Henry, Jasmine and Momo while she was unwrapping some birthday presents from us.
She tried on a Veterinarian's attire and was trying out a drawing kit (pens and pencils).
It involved Momo (I was kicked out) dressing up in a little gown and lip-synching "Amazing Grace" with a little choir of foreigners in a church. It wasn't actually a real church - the filming was done in a theme park next to the tv station. Momo did a great job, even though the filming was at nap time and several other little kids fell asleep or couldn't stay focused.
Actually, after it was finished the director kept asking if Momo could be a host in another TV program for children that they put on. I'm not completely opposed to the idea, but am concerned about the amount of time it would take and any possible negative effects being a tv personality might have on her. . .

One is at the riverside where there is a huge area of rapeseed plants,
and the other one is the botanic park where there are many kinds of
beautiful tulips and cherry blossoms. Hopefully you enjoy the view as we did!

The [above] pictures attached here were taken in front of the building where
my parents live, and the snowman was made by somebody, and we contributed
the eyes (leaves). The reason Mono was so happy is just because her big bad
wolf friend (her favorite cartoon character, she got it from her drawing
school with her Accumulated Rewards Points for attending classes) was
standing on the snowman's head.

Momo in Drawing Class - mid-September

"My sister and I brought Momo for the photo-shoot and photo-select
together. Momo was reluctant to go at the beginning, and then persisted in
wearing a tiger suit - apparently it was too small for her! It took quite a
while for Momo to adapt herself to her role, but it turned out that she asked
for more photo-shoot at the end![?] In the second set of clothing, Momo said
she looked like a handsome boy, she put her finger into the pocket in order
to get a candy I gave to her, then had that candy happily in the following
photos.
"I still can recall the moment when she took her first photo-shoot when she was younger than 1: she was crying, so all the photos I have for that time are with tears!"

"Today, we joined a very interesting activity: close contact with tiger cub
and lion cub, sponsored by a local newspaper. We were chosen randomly from
50 families who applied (10 out of 50). This photo was taken by a
photographer from the newspaper. This is also Momo and Henry's first time to
go to the zoo in Changsha. We had fun there in the morning, but soon there
were too many people because today is May day public holiday, then we went
to Martyr's park, which is next to the zoo, to meet Henry's Master and
friends and practise Taiji. It was a wonderful day!"
