Dee was one of the neighborhood "walkers" over many years,
3-4 times per week. She was also a longstanding member of
Joanne Pierson's "Morning Warriers" Step Aerobics Class at
the Washtenaw County Recreation Center. We didn't know Gene
as well but we had a delightful holiday on Sutton's Bay in 2024.

Liz (and her husband, Wayne, who was a friend and colleague in the Psychology Department) moved
into their new home on the corner of Gladstone and Independence about 14 years ago. She
grew up in Whitby Ontario and was educated at the University of Toronto (undergraduate,
graduate, and medical school), where she and Wayne met. Her professional life in Ann Arbor
was as a physician in the UM Student Health facility on central campus.
